David Bentley has limped out of Tottenham Hotspur’s opening pre-season game against Bournemouth.

The winger was replaced by Andros Townsend after 24 minutes after suffering a suspected ankle injury at the Fitness First Stadium.

Meanwhile, Carlo Cudicini is playing his first game for Spurs since his motorbike accident in November.

Shameful. Bentley turned up and did the stuff for us in the second half of the season. If he leaves the Lane we will be a poorer outfit for it.

Hopefully they won’t kick the ball too hard at Carlo. Might snap his hands back.

disgusting comments from "armchair supporters!!!" shame on you, bet you were calling him great last season when he turned games in our favour like the f.a cup game against fulham!! he definately played his part in us reaching the CL last season so give the guy a break. COYS

come on you guys, what is wrong with you, Bentley has made ammends, and last season was a vital player for us.
  9. Bazza says:
Bentley has made ammends and I do like him but I hate how much our game changes when he plays and Lennon is unavailable. I would perhaps bring in Kyle Naughton as back up to Aaron Lennon as he too posseses pace as well as a good delivery.
  10. simianspur says:
Yes, how I remember Kyle Naughton ripping up defences last season. With a more fitting striker, Bentleys balls would be finding a head more often. Yes I said Bentleys balls.
