Harry Redknapp understands Jamie O’Hara’s desire to play at Wembley but has blasted the midfielder for saying that he hopes Spurs lose their FA Cup quarter-final replay against Fulham.
‘He shouldn’t have said that. He’s a Tottenham player and he’ll be back here next season,’ said Redknapp.
‘I can see where he’s coming from but he’s got to be careful because this is his club and the fans love him here.
‘He obviously wants to play at Wembley. He’s desperate to play.
‘He had the disappointment of being left out of the League Cup final team when Tottenham were there so I can understand where he’s coming from.’
