West Ham United have signed Tottenham striker Robbie Keane on loan until the end of the season.

The Republic of Ireland striker has failed to hold down a regular place at Spurs this campaign and will now move across London to Upton Park.   The deal will become permanent if the Hammers retain their Premier League status.

Birmingham are trying to sign or loan Obafemi Martins, not sure if the deal has gone through or not but he would offer more than our current bunch of Jaffas[ seedless blank shooters].Not the top class striker we all wanted but as good as some that have been linked to us.I am still hopeful of a striker signing but have in the last few days seen Harrys limitations and wonder if the news of the special ones wanderlust might be a factor.

Why? Why? WHY? Harry states Keane will definitely not be leaving on loan – then he only goes and does! This makes no sense unless Redknapp has lined a world class striker to replace Keane.

Otherwise we will have lost a quality striker – and helped our rivals in a bid for them to stay in the league! Ridiculous business.
