SEVILLA are hoping to tie up a deal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Didier Zokora in the next few days.
A deal for the Ivory Coast international had looked to have reached a stalemate, after Spurs were asking for €10million (£8.6m), Spanish press reports now claim that a fee could be agreed at around €8.5million.
“I have confidence in finding a solution to this subject in a few days because the situation has changed after the first meeting,” said Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido.
Sevilla director Ramon Rodriguez Monchi added: “Zokora is a key player for the new project with the squad.”
