Former Spur Taarabt in United talks?

News | admin | January 30, 2011 at 2:29 pm

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Adel Taarabt believes he could be joining Manchester United.

Taarabt left Spurs in the summer to join QPR, where he has arguably been the best performer in the Championship this season.

“Nothing is official yet,” Taarabt said in The People.

“I had discussions about my transfer after my performance against Coventry.

“I’m ready to go to Manchester United.

“We’ll see later in the season, as I’m hoping to reach the promotion target with my current club QPR.

“I like England, so I am not against the idea of continuing my career at United.”

You wouldn’t get in the lineup unless Nani was injured.

    Fact.

I think we failed with Taarabt. Now watch Ferguson develop the talent in Taarabt that we let slip from our fingers. I wonder if he will give Taarabt a chance at center forward – he's been typecast as a midfielder but I think he's a natural striker. Wait and see!

If he wasn't a big headed loud mouth whiner, i think he would have made it through the ranks at Spurs. But then again DosSantos wasn't and he is still an outcast. Well done Harry!
