Spurs midfielder to link up with former boss again?

News | admin | December 22, 2010 at 7:09 pm

Press reports are suggesting that David Bentley is open to a loan move to Aston Villa or Fulham.

The Spurs winger has failed to displace Aaron Lennon from the right wing position and looks set to get regular first-team football elsewhere.

Bentley played under Mark Hughes at Blackburn and is thought to be open to the prospect of playing under the Welshman at Craven Cottage.

We paid over £15million for Bentley in 2008 and we’d be lucky to recoup half of that now.

No, loans or no good to anybody, if we can get around 7-8 million i’d take it and re-invest the money along with our kitty in getting that top quality striker we need, Dzeko, Llorente, Aguero, Forlan, Falcao, one of them would do the trick
