Tottenham Hotspur’s injury list continues to increase after Jermaine Jenas was forced off after just 18 minutes of the 4-1 friendly defeat to Villarreal last night.
The Spurs midfielder had to be replaced by Danny Rose during the encounter at White Hart Lane and joins Luka Modric, Roman Pavlyuchenko (both hamstring) and Wilson Palacios (groin) on the treatment table at Spurs Lodge.
Talking to The Sun, Harry Redknapp said: “Our schedule is crazy. We pile games in but I need to get players on the training pitch.
“Luka Modric and Roman Pavlyuchenko both got hamstring injuries in America. That’s what happens when you slap all around the world. Wilson Palacios also has a groin problem, he’s had an injection and I’m hoping that does the trick.”
