Report: Two La Liga sides enter the race to sign Tottenham man 

The latest reports from Spain have revealed that Getafe and Real Sociedad have now entered the race to sign Bryan Gil, with some sources suggesting that the winger does not want to leave on a straight loan deal.

Over the last week, Spurs Web has brought to you various reports crediting both Fiorentina and Feyenoord with an interest in singing Gil on loan this month (Fabrizio Romano).

It has now emerged that Gil, who has loan spells at Valencia and Sevilla respectively during the last two seasons, could be on his way to Spain once again this month.

Getafe and Real Sociedad enter race for Bryan Gil

AS have now reported that Getafe have identified the Tottenham man as a target, with many at the club believing that the 22-year-old would ‘fit perfectly’ into their side.

The outlet also points out that Getafe boss Jose Bordalas has a relationship with Gil, having worked with him at Valencia, and he could use that to persuade the player to move to the Estadio Coliseum.

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo are now suggesting that Real Sociedad are also in the picture to sign the Spain international.

Interestingly, the report says that Gil does not want to leave Spurs on another loan deal and would want a purchase option to be included in any temporary move.

The publication adds that the winger’s ‘dream’ is to return to Sevilla and while the Andalusian club would be happy to have him back, they cannot afford the operation.

Tottenham might be willing to include an option to buy in a loan deal for Gil but the reality is that the likes of Getafe or Real Sociedad (or most La Liga sides for that matter) are not in a position to spend around £15m on the winger or match the salary that he currently earns at Spurs.
