Bayern pull out of race for Tottenham target

Bayern Munich head coach Jupp Heynckes has ruled out a move for Tottenham target Malcom.

The Bordeaux forward was heavily linked with a move to Spurs in January, with the young Brazilian revealing during the transfer window that it was his “dream” to play in England.

A move never materalised and we saw Mauricio Pochettino take Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain and despite Heynckes seemingly confirming Malcom was of interest to Bayern ahead of an expected summer exit for the Brazilian, the coach has now dismissed the player.

“I have never seen him play,” Heynckes told a media conference. “Therefore, I am not able give an opinion on him.But I don’t think there is interest here. He always gets put into the shopping window but nobody really goes after him.”

Malcom has scored just one goal in his last 12 games for Bordeaux. He has been linked with a move to Arsenal as well. Do we think Mauricio might reignite interest or was January’s arrival of Lucas enough to put an end to the possibility of any move happening for his fellow Brazilian.
