Club announce new date for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium money-making event

Tottenham have announced a rescheduled date of Friday 30 July, 2021 for the Lady Gaga concert that was originally postponed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The concert was supposed to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday 30 July, 2020, however, it became just one of a number of concerts forced into delays.

“The date is exactly one year on from her initially scheduled and much-anticipated first concert at our world-class new venue, which has been postponed in the wake of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic,” read the statement on the club’s website.

Anyone who had bought a ticket for the event will be able to keep hold of their original booking and use it for the new rescheduled date for 2021.

The Lady Gaga concert is just one of the extra-earner events which had been planned for the summer of 2020 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Guns N’ Roses were also supposed to perform at the ground this year, with Capital’s Summer Time Ball yet another event that was scheduled before the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is a positive for the club that the concert has not been cancelled altogether as I am sure they will be taking a large sum from the event revenue to hold it in the new stadium. We are still waiting to hear if the Anthony Joshua fight will be rescheduled for next year too.
