Former Madrid hero prefers Kane over Lewandowski

Former Real Madrid hero Jorge Valdano says president Florentino Perez should move Harry Kane ahead of Polish star Robert Lewandowski.

The Argentine believes the England international would handle the intense pressure of playing for Real better than his German counterpart.

Kane has has a flying start at the World Cup with five goals in his first two games in Russia and our star man would have been up against Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku today but the Belgian has picked up an ankle injury.

Valdano has said he would break the bank to bring the 24-year-old to the Bernabeu if he was in charge.

He told German publication BILD: “If I was responsible for Real, then I would sign Harry Kane.He is five years younger than Lewandowski – and yet he could handle the brutal pressures that reigns at Real.

He is also an incredible executor. He would help Real.”

Harry has scored 18 goals in 26 appearances for the Three Lions he did pledge his future to the club by signing a new six-year deal worth £200,000-a-week three weeks ago.
