VIDEO: Laudrup – We had our chances against Tottenham

Tottenham’s 3-1 win at the Liberty Stadium yesterday left Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup somewhat despondent in his post-match press conference.

Swansea had the better of the opening play, but Emmanuel Adebayor’s header helped to take the sting out of the home side and from that point on, there was only one side who looked likely to win.

Laudrup told the press conference: “Yes overall of course, losing a game or not winning another one depending on how you see it, we have to admit it’s a difficult moment for us. Of course it’s a difficult moment because we don’t in the league for quite some time we haven’t won. And it’s obvious to see the players, if you see the game today. They come out the players with a great attitude and a good performance, first half an hour dominating against a very good side in Tottenham, and had a couple of good chances, really good shots from (Wilfried) Bony and the first time they arrive they score. Of course in a team that is already struggling to win in the league, that hurts even more. But I don’t think there’s much we can do. The only ones who can change this are ourselves and the way that we can change it is by winning a game.”
