FIRST HALF PLAYER RATINGS : Huddersfield v Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris-6- Apart from a few early scares he’s been rarely troubled and solid when called upon.

Jan Vertonghen-7- Mr Dependable his usual solid self. Always a key man

Davison Sanchez-6- The Colombian has settled so well in to Premier League life and again today looks so at home. Did get away with one when he looked to have upended one of the Huddersfield players in the box. Solid otherwise

Toby Alderweireld-6- Apart from a clumsy foul near the box mid way through the first half he’s been rarely troubled.

Ben Davies-8- A player who is going from strength to strength. Causing the terriers full back all sorts of problems. Danny Who?

Eric Dier-7- What he’s all about grit strength and determination. Hold well which plays to his midfield partners strength. On this display Wanyama will find it hard to displace him

Harry Winks-8- Injury has actually improved him. Plenty of lung busting runs into the box. Magnificent player and surely to be considered for a senior England call up

Kieran Trippier-6- His usual dependable self,so much more comfortable on the right.

Dele-6- Playing ok but hasn’t really effected much. Fantastic player only needs one chance.

Christian Eriksen-7- Always busy always probing such an important player, again making things tick

Harry Kane-9- I could’ve given him a ten but for that chance he took when he could’ve squared for Eriksen but other than that he’s been incredible again. Starting to run out of superlatives. Different level
