Pochettino considers loan duo recall

According to an article in The Express Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he might recall Cameron Carter-Vickers and Josh Onomah from their loan spells.

Youngsters USA international defender Carter-Vickers, 19, and England Under-21 midfielder Onomah, 20, are due to spend the season with Championship promotion hopefuls Sheffield United and Aston Villa respectively and the article adds that Pochettino is also considering loaning out 20-year-old right-back Kyle Walker-Peters.

However it does say he is prepared to wait until the end of next month to see how his squad is shaping up before making any concrete decisions.

“We’ve still not decided anything about Cameron, Josh or Kyle Walker-Peters,” Pochettino said.
“I think we are still waiting and we will see what happens in the next few weeks. We have until the end of January to decide.”

The article adds that Carter-Vickers has been a regular at the back for Championship surprise package Sheffield United and Onomah has netted four times in 21 appearances for Villa but he has struggled to win over the fans.
Villans boss Steve Bruce previously admitted he hopes to sign Onomah on a permanent basis. “We’ll try and break the bank for him,”:Bruce said. “But we know Spurs have got a very good player there.”
