Tottenham have added a Portuguese trio to their summer transfer wish list according to The Mirror.
Winger Gelson Martins, right back Cedric Soares and midfielder Ruben Neves are all said to be on Spurs’ radar.
Mauricio Pochettino is keen to increase his options on the wings and Sporting Lisbon’s 22 year-old Martins, who can play on both flanks, is in his sights as another wing option along with Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha and Bordeaux’s Malcom.
The article goes on to say that Spurs are also keeping tabs on Southampton defender Soares’ situation.The Euro 2016 winner has been an excellent signing for Pochettino’s former club since joining from Sporting Lisbon in 2015 and he would be among the players likely to leave St Mary’s if third-bottom Southampton go down.
Spurs’ interest will no doubt cast doubt over the future of Serge Aurier.The Ivorian fullback has struggled since his £23million move from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Neves has been in terrific form as he helped propel Wolves to the Championship title and the article adds how he has also been watched by Spurs who are open to offers for Mousa Dembele as he heads into the final 12 months left on his contract.
