Rose United bound believes pundit

Danny Rose will be heading to Manchester United this summer.
That is according to pundit and former Liverpool full-back Steve Nicol.

United have been heavily linked with a move for the unsettled left-back in recent months and the article describes how Rose fell out of favour in north London after admitting he wanted to move back up north before he retired.

And Nicol believes the player will get his wish. But not this month.
“This is one that I can see happening,” Nicol said on ESPN.
“Tottenham have got enough cover, the likes of (Serge) Aurier, (Kieran) Trippier, (Ben) Davies.Again it will take a Kyle Walker-type money, £50m, to get him.

Nicol added: “But I think Manchester United will pay that amount of money and I think this will happen.Again, I don’t see it happening now but I think in the summer, I think this is a hit.”

The article by ESPN goes on to describe how United have struggled in the left-back position this season with veteran Ashley Young filling in at the back while Luke Shaw has been out of favour.

Jose Mourinho has also been linked with Juventus full-back Alex Sandro, with the Brazilian is keen to leave Serie A for more gametime.
