Spurs aiming to snatch Liverpool starlet

According to The Sun Spurs have entered the race to land Liverpool’s exciting young attacker Rhian Brewster.

The London born striker is yet to pen his first professional contract with discussions ongoing with the Merseyside club about his future.

The article claims the Under-17 World Cup winner is seeking assurances from Liverpool he will be able to genuinely challenge for a place in Jurgen Klopp’s set-up next season.

It goes on to say that Klopp has an abundance of attacking talent at his disposal, despite the collapse of a deal for Lyon forward Nabil Fekir.

SunSport say Brewster is not looking to cash in on signing his first pro deal, as he wants the next stage of his career to be about playing first-team football to aid his development.

It adds that a new long-term deal has been agreed in principle with the 18-year-old’s representatives, but that has not stopped Spurs checking on his availability.
