talkSPORT claim we will rival Inter Milan and Manchester United for the signature of unsettled Real Madrid star Luka Modric, according to reports.

Our former Midfielder , 32, has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at the Bernabeu but is expected to leave the Spanish giants at the end of the season.

The article says that since Modric headed for Madrid in the summer of 2012, the influential midfielder has won three Champions League crowns and one LaLiga title.

However it adds that Modric is now resigned to the fact his six-year spell in Madrid is coming to an end, and Spanish media outlet Diario Gol claim he has already told club captain Sergio Ramos he will leave next summer.

It adds that the Croatian’s most likely next destination will be the San Siro, with Inter already establishing contact with the player’s representatives however it’s believed that both Manchester United and ourselves are also in the running.

The article describes how United boss Jose Mourinho brought Modric to the Bernabeu during his spell in charge of Real and is said to remain a huge fan of the Croatian schemer but it’s also been rumoured that We will offer our former star a route back to north London in what would be a sensational return to the Premier League.

So the question is would you have Modric back, or at 32 is he just to old for the rigours of the Premier League? Let us know your thoughts.

  1. Let him stay where he is.Could, not wait to get out of white hart lane so a backward step to bring him back. Same goes for Bale.those ships have sailed.Lets continue moving forward with young players and not ones that are past their best like Modric or Bale who is now injury prone.

    • Damn straight FAM. Hell no let them stay there. Modric was the one who put in a transfer request remember!!
Also he said he wanted to go to Chelsea..
      So he can get STUFFED..

  2. I'd go back for Bale, but not Modric.
If he'd have stayed for another year, like Bale did,
we would have been in the CL more regularly since
(even if they'd both still left for RM at the same time)
and our platform would have been even stronger
for making that next step to 'renewed' Glory.
Having said that, we might not have gone the Kane,
Alli or Eriksen route etc.. So who knows?!
But Modric is 32, and as much as we could do
with him right now (with Eriksen out of sych) getting
him in for next season is not necessary for our ambition.
Bale, however, I'd have back in a heartbeat!
Who would need Rose with those two great
Welsh players on our left flank (Bale & Davies).

    • Your telling us Davis is better then rose???

      Yeah nice one..
Your the only spurs fan who thinks that.. Rose is in a different league to Davis. Davis is good but rose is soooooooooooo much better.

  3. Rose does not appear to have got his game up to speed yet, so currently yes, Davies is better.
It also depends on Rose’s attitude and at present it is not coming across as great, is it?
