Spurs duo sign new deals

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Development Squad players Shilow Tracey and Kazaiah Sterling have signed new contracts with the Club until 2020 and 2021 respectively.

Tracey joined the clubs Academy from Ebbsfleet United in January 2016 and has established himself in the Development Squad making 26 appearances in the 2017-18 season.

Sterling is a regular on the scoresheet at Under-23s level, and made his competitive first team debut in a 3-0 UEFA Champions League win over APOEL at Wembley in December 2017.

A number of British clubs have seen some of their brightest young talents depart for the Bundesliga. Former Everton Star Ademola Lookman, ex West Ham starlet Reece Oxford and more recently Manchester City’s Jordan Sancho all left British shores in search of first team football.

Spurs are likely to see the departure of Marcus Edwards and having already lost another talented youngster in Keanan Bennetts, clinching long term deals for Tracey and Sterling will be a major boost to Mauricio Pochettino
