Spurs midfielder signs new deal

The club are wasting no time in signing players to new contracts as Harry Winks has joined Cameron Carter-Vickers, Davinson Sanchez and Kyle Walker-Peters in signing a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2023.

The 22 year old England international midfielder has featured 61 times for the first team since making his debut as a substitute in a Europa League tie against FK Partizan in November, 2014.

He came through the ranks of our Academy, and scored on his first Premier League start for the Club in a 3-2 home win over West Ham in November, 2016.

The youngsters impressive displays resulted in a first senior England cap in October, 2017, in a World Cup qualifying match against Lithuania, adding to international honours he had previously earned with the Three Lions at junior level.

Unfortunately for Harry he was forced to miss the latter stages of the 2017-18 season, and subsequently a place in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad due to an ankle injury,however he is scheduled for surgery and is expected to return in pre-season.
