Spurs ready to hijack Liverpool’s Pulisic move

Spurs are reportedly ready to gazump Liverpool’s move for American attacking midfielder Christian Pulisic.

We’ve had another solid season in which we earned a top-three finish in the Premier League however The Express says the club doesn’t want to rest on its laurels and are looking to add improvements as early as possible.

The article adds that Mauricio Pochettino has already openly challenged the club to take “more risks” and has urged Daniel Levy to give him a transfer kitty of at least £100million and one area that could be strengthened is in midfield and Pulisic is on the clubs radar.

The 19-year-old Dortmund star has had no shortage of interest with Liverpool also keeping tabs, however Jurgen Klopp will be getting Naby Keita in the summer, however he wants to bring in more quality reinforcements and Lyon’s Nabil Fekir is also on their wishlist and the Reds could try to sign him too.

The article goes on to say that according to Calcio Insider, Spurs are ready to make a move of their own for Pulisic, despite Lucas Moura only joining the from Paris Saint-Germain in January however Moussa Sissoko has failed to deliver and could head for the exit.

Calcio Insider also claim that Spurs are ready to meet the asking price of Pulisic, which is around the £40million mark and that his versatility would no doubt be useful to any Premier League suitor as he can play out wide or through the centre.
