Spurs reveal players bonus deals

According to The Mirror Daniel Levy has revealed the massive bonuses that the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli earn at Hotspur Way.

Our well talked about wage structure has faced plenty of analysis in recent times, however it seems that the added extras on offer are significant enough to keep the players happy and the article has that it has been reported that Levy discussed the topic at a meeting last week with the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust.

It adds how many comparisons have been drawn with other top four contenders with regards to the wage budget at Spurs, but it is understood that Spurs paid the highest bonuses in the division – something that Levy has now seemingly confirmed in the meeting.

The article goes on to say that Peter Haine, secretary of the supporters trust, brought up the subject of the bonuses paid to players at the club. The minutes of the meeting read: “Peter Haine mentioned the bonus payments, also. It was felt the bonus structure and incentives should also be considered when discussing players wages as they comprised a significant part of the monies and are the most generous of any club in the Premier League.”

It adds that it is believed that it was Levy who responded with the claim about the bonus structure and incentives, which would go some way to explaining why, along with the management of Mauricio Pochettino, players like Harry Kane and Dele Alli aren’t desperately trying to find a way out of the club as some reports might suggest.

It adds that Levy also revealed that the club spend roughly 50 per cent of their income on the players and he had plenty to say on manager Mauricio Pochettino and the future sale of players.
