Stars turn out for “The Lane” premiere

A host of our former stars came together on Thursday night to see the premiere of a film commemorating our 118-year stay at White Hart Lane.

‘The Lane’ is an hour long documentary capturing the life of our former home as it undergoes redevelopment into a new 61,000-capacity stadium.
The film will premiere to British audiences on December 16 at 9pm on BT Sport 1.

The Mail writes that Mauricio Pochettino and captain Hugo Lloris represented the current squad, with chairman Daniel Levy also in attendance, and amongst former players attending the event at BT Sport’s studios in Stratford, east London were Micky Hazard, Ossie Ardiles and Mark Falco, with Ledley King and Scott Parker also there from the club’s recent Premier League past.

The article adds that the story uses rarely seen archive
footage of the classic moments at our iconic ground, and includes interviews with legends such as Pat Jennings and Glenn Hoddle.

The article adds how we moved out of White Hart Lane in May after a 2-1 win over Manchester United in their final game there and the side are playing our home games at Wembley this year with the intent of moving into the new ground, built on top of the site of the old, next August.
