Reaction from Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood following Spurs’ 2-1 English Premier League win at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Goals from Emmanuel Adebayor and Christian Eriksen gave us our second win at Manchester United in as many seasons after previously going 24 visits to Fergie’s place without managing to win.
Sherwood told the press: “It’s different because I’ve never experienced it as a manager before but it didn’t feel easy, I’m telling you, to stand there on the touchline, I felt like they (Manchester Utd) kept coming and coming. Every time Wayne (Rooney) picked up the ball he could open us up, maybe it’s just negative vibes coming from my head and I tried to blank them out but it’s (Old Trafford) a difficult place to come and I think it always will be. You know, this is a top football club and one of the best in the world.”
