TeamTalk have reported that Tottenham may look at Everton’s James Garner as a potential alternative to transfer target, Conor Gallagher.
The report claims Tottenham are plotting a move for the 22-year-old as Ange Postecoglou looks to bolster his midfield ranks in the summer transfer window.
However, Spurs are not the only club interested in Garner, as Newcastle and other unnamed clubs are also keeping an eye on the Everton star.
James Garner is a new Tottenham target
After enjoying somewhat of a breakthrough season last time out, helping the Toffees to fight off relegation on the final day of the season, Garner has been a near-everpresent under Sean Dyche this year.
The report does not mention how much Everton would want for their midfield star, after signing him from Manchester United for £15m in the summer of 2022.

It appears Postecoglou wants a midfielder who can cover ground, look after the ball, and press relentlessly, which is why Conor Gallagher and James Garner make sense as transfer targets.
Pape Matar Sarr has been a revelation so far this season and having more players with his skill set would be a huge boost.
