Spurs to tell Bale he is not for sale at any price

The Sunday Telegraph are reporting that Tottenham will tell Gareth Bale that he is not for sale at any price when he finishes a holiday in the United States.

The 23-year-old is linked on a daily basis with a move to Real Madrid with a transfer value of £60million to £85million depending on which report you read. Spurs will tell Bale that no offers will be accepted, even if he decides against signing a new deal at White Hart Lane.

Madrid have been very vocal about their determination to bring Bale to the Bernabéu. Their chairman Florentino Pérez said that Bale “was born” to play for Madrid, while Zinedine Zidane has also publically praised the Welshman. Add all that together, along with Jonathan Barnett’s comments and it makes for a very worrying mix for Spurs fans.

It looks like we’ll be in for another week of Bale speculation.

  1. About time to…….But I am fed upof all of the papers and media speculating about bale GOING….It would be very nice for a paper or the Media to take a different slant and try to encourage Gareth Bale to STAY with SPURS……Why you might ask….Well…WHAT WOULD THE PREMIERSHIP LOOSE….He is undoughtably the "THIRD BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD" at the moment…shouldn't we be trying to keep him in the English Premiership…I ALSO want to be seeing Bale Playing here every week, not just highlights on Sky Sky Sports every now and then….Finally…Tottenham HAVE been on the verge of something great for many years now….This could be the season with the three top top clubs all with new managers this season….WHAT A GREAT CHANCE TO MAKE A HUGE STATEMENT WE COULD MAKE…COME ON YOU SPURS.

  2. I can see a situation where Levy allows this to drag on and on,and then maybe in late July, after all the top trnasfer targets have been snapped up, he will sell, have a large amount of money in the bank as a result, and not be able to buy anyone of any significance. As for selling to United..Don't even think about it Levy. Are we once again about to become a MAn Utd feeder team. Sheringham,Carrick,Berbatov. Don't even go ther becasue my days as I season ticket holder will come to an abrupt end and I should imagine I wouldn't be the only one
