Since the sale of Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur has not had a consistent 20-goals-a-season striker, not including Gareth Bale’s superb performances last season. Two first half Arsenal goals had many of us thinking this was going to be another frustrating North London derby. However, Harry Redknapp rallied his troops and turned the game around in the second half. A Gareth Bale goal and a Rafael van der Vaart penalty leveled the score at 2-2, only for Younes Kaboul header from a free-kick to send the Spurs supporters into frenzy.
