£200m offer incoming for Kane?

The Sunday Times are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to turn down a world record offer from Spanish giants Real Madrid for Harry Kane.

The England international has become arguably the world’s best striker which has caught the attention of Europe’s elite, including Madrid, who are prepared to offer £200million for Kane.

That transfer fee would top the £189 which PSG paid Barcelona to lure Neymar to France. However, the report claims that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to tell his Madrid counterparts that Kane is not for sale at any price.

Following Barcelona’s signing of Phillipe Coutinho for £145millon and the fact that Zinedine Zidane’s side are already trailing Barcelona by 19 points in La Liga, they are under pressure to appease their demanding fans.
Kane currently earns around £120,000-a-week at Tottenham, an amount which he could easily triple by moving to Spain.

In our opinion, there are three key factors to keeping Kane happy:

1. Trophies

2. Mauricio Pochettino remaining at the club
3. A new contract

We all know Kane is world class and Levy has to match his ambition. It’s as simple as that.
