Tottenham have approached Alexandre Pato’s representatives over a potential move for Corinthians’ 25-year-old Brazilian striker.

This is what is being reported in Brazilian outlet UOL, who claim that Tottenham are considering a move for the forward who has scored 120 goals in 225 games in his club career.

Pato came to prominence during his five year stint in Italy with Serie A giants AC Milan but consistent injuries led to his career going somewhat into decline.

The report claims that Lazio and Galatasaray are also in for Pato who is currently on loan at Sao Paulo from Corinthians and would cost around £7-10 million.

  1. Very very quick and tricky, very good finisher but injuries wrecked his potentially great career.7 mil is probably far fetched but possibly on loan with a permanent move option agreed on a realistic fee probably will suit Spurs to begin with.Keeping Pato fit is one job but if 100% fit keeping him away from goal is definitely a greater job for opposition defenders. One handicap with him also he has a pretty lively presence in night spots in a town centre.

  2. Grabbing at last minute acquisitions, a striker should have been sourced, bought and bedded in to the team by now! Same old Tottenham.

    • Quite right, players like Austin and brahino yarmolenko, ayew, have been available and we shouldve been able to get at leasy 2vof these but we're still being linked and speculation mounts and offers submitted eyc blah blah blah and still no solid acquisitions. Other teams go for a player snd get them, we dont!! 3 games in and still the business hasnt been done. Top 4? Ha thats a laugh…..
