Tottenham Hotspur target Edson Cavani has joined Napoli for around 12million euros.
The Uruguay striker had been linked with a move to White Hart Lane, but has penned a five-year deal after leaving Palermo.
“He’s a young talent, gifted, with enormous feeling for the goal,” Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri said.
“He’s capable of playing for the team, to get it going and to finish all the work that has been done.
“I am very happy he has joined us.
“I think the club has done a very good job in signing Cavani considering it’s a difficult transfer market.”
