Charlie Nicholas on who will win between Norwich and Tottenham

Sky Sports football pundit Charlie Nicholas has shared his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Norwich City this evening.

Tottenham come into the match having beaten Brighton on Boxing Day which reduced fourth placed Chelsea’s advantage to just three point after they lost to Southampton

After a run of 12 Premier League away games without a win, Tottenham have won two of their last three on the road (L1).

The Lilywhites are without a clean sheet in 16 Premier League away games, their longest run without one in the top-flight since a run of 20 between April 1976-April 1977.

Nicholas expects Spurs to fail to pick up all three points at Carrow Road and will instead have to settle for a draw.

With Spurs going into the game without Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks due to suspension, Nicholas warned that Jose Mourinho may face selection issues.

Norwich are bottom and winless in their past six games. Three points for Spurs will send them into fourth place, with Chelsea not playing until tomorrow.

Nicholas told Sky Sports: “Tottenham are not overly impressive at the minute – they dug out a good win against Brighton after going behind, but they may go into a lull again where Jose Mourinho may not be sure who to pick. They are shrouded in uncertainty at the moment.

“Norwich will open it up which could and should suit Tottenham to play on the counter. Spurs could pick them off, but Norwich are dangerous so it will be a high-scoring draw.

‘Prediction: 2-2.”
