Charlie Nicholas shares his prediction for Spurs vs Burnley

Sky Sports football pundit Charlie Nicholas has shared his score prediction for Tottenham Hotspur’s next match.

The North London side take on Burnley in the Premier League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Spurs have started life well under Jose Mourinho having won his opening three fixtures, however, reality hit home once again on Wednesday night following a disappointing performance from his players after they lost 2-1 against Manchester United.

The failure to beat United has meant that fourth place Chelsea have opened up a nine point advantage over Tottenham in the table.

Nicholas believes it will be a case of more points dropped by the Champions League finalists tomorrow with the Clarets holding them to a score draw.

The former Arsenal player has tipped Burnley to pose Spurs a threat if some of their key players are on form.

Mourinho has seen his team concede two goals in each of their opening four matches and will be looking for an improved performance to get their hopes of a top four finish back on track.

Nicholas told Sky Sports: “Tottenham got a reality check at Old Trafford, with Manchester United exploiting their mess of a defence. Spurs were fortunate to escape with a 2-1 defeat. Nothing appears to have changed since Jose Mourinho’s appointment.

“Burnley are the most unpredictable I have seen them under Sean Dyche. They are usually strong at home but have been unable to perform consistently on the road. They won’t park the bus as Spurs, but they may have to because they are so week defensively. That said, if Dyche can get a tune out of Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood, this will be an awkward afternoon for Tottenham.”
