Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to sell Paulinho to to Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande for £10 million, according to the Telegraph.
The Brazilian midfielder has failed to live up to the hype since his £17million move to White Hart Lane two years ago, and Daniel Levy was hopeful of recouping more than £10million – as far as I’m concerned to get that much money for him considering his performances is a steal.
Guangzhou are coached by former Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari – who included Paulinho in his World Cup squad last year.
So much was expected of the 26-year-old when he joined us, especially after his performances in the Confederations Cup and he has to go down as one of our biggest flops in recent years.
It’s time to ship Paulinho off and bring in a new midfielder who can actually make a difference in the middle of the park.

Have something to tell us about this article?
Why the hell would Paulinho agree to go to the Chinese league though?
Money!!
Money, what else?.His wages are being doubled, apparently.
Double the money for career obscurity then, fun times for Paulinho. …unless they win the Fifa CWC. :/
