“Come on, Mauricio Pochettino!” – Steve Bruce makes Poch pledge

Steve Bruce has thrown his support behind Mauricio Pochettino to guide Tottenham Hotspur to Premier League glory this season.

The former Manchester United defender and captain admits that he would like to see Spurs end their long wait for a league title, rather than see Manchester City or Liverpool take the crown.

Bruce made over 300 appearances for the Old Trafford side, where he won twelve trophies including three Premier League titles.

He is now back in management after taking up the reigns of Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, where Spurs midfielder Josh Onomah is currently on a season-long loan deal.

Bruce appeared as a guest on Alan Brazil’s Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT this morning (8/2) and publically declared his desire for Spurs success.

Tottenham are currently in third place in the Premier League table, five points behind Liverpool and Manchester City with Pep Guardiola’s side having played a game more than the Reds and Spurs.
