Tottenham Hotspur begin 2020 with a trip to the south coast to take on the improving Southampton.
Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho has selected his side which will take to the field at St Mary’s.
The Saints suffered humiliation earlier in the season when they were on the receiving end of a 9-0 thrashing by Leicester City on their own turf, but have fought back in recent matches.
Southampton did their part recently to try and help Tottenham’s quest for a top four finish by beating Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, only for Mourinho’s side to fail to close the gap.
Mourinho is once again unable to call upon the services of the injured trio of Hugo Lloris, Ben Davies and Danny Rose while Eric Dier and Juan Foyth have not made the squad.
Tottenham have won 11 of their 15 Premier League against Southampton since Saints returned to the top-flight in 2012 – against no side have Spurs won more league games in that time.
This is who features for Tottenham.
