Daniel Levy reveals multi-year deal

Daniel Levy made a surprising revelation this evening and it wasn’t anything to do with the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Fans will naturally be disappointed with the news that our new 62,062 seater stadium will not open in 2018, but the Spurs chairman did let slip an interesting update on our kit partnership.

Levy revealed that current kit suppliers Nike have extended their agreement until 2033.

The American sports giant took over the deal from Under Armour in June of last year on what was described at the time as a ‘multi-year agreement’.

The original deal was thought to be worth £25million-a-year and covered the men’s, women’s and academy squads; Coaching staff and Tottenham Hotspur Foundation representatives are also kitted out in Nike gear.

Levy said in a statement on the official Spurs site: “In recent months we have secured an extended agreement with Nike up to 2033, one of the longest football club deals in Nike’s history.”
