Parrett released by Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur have released England Under-20 international Dean Parrett.

The 21-year-old creative midfielder made his first team debut for Tottenham in a UEFA Cup match against Shakhtar Donetsk in February 2009 and caught the eye, unfortunately however it hasn’t worked out for him.

Parrett has has loan spells at Aldershot, Plymouth, Charlton, Yeovil and most recently Swindon Town where he joined fellow Spurs trainees Nathan Byrne and Massimo Luongo.

He has since gone on trial with Crystal Palace and played 90 minutes for their Under-21 side against Bolton Wanderers.

We’d like to wish Dean all the best for the future.
