Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this evening’s match against Royal Antwerp.
In the reverse fixture in Belgium, the only previous game between these two teams, a goal from Lior Refaelov gave Antwerp a surprise 1-0 win over Tottenham.
The defeat saw Jose Mourinho take to Instagram to express his disappointment of his players and decided to call them in for extra training.
Including qualifiers, the Portuguese has won 14 of his last 16 home matches in the UEFA Cup/Europa League (D1 L1), winning all five home matches in the Europa League group stage with Man Utd (2017/18) and Spurs (2020/21).
Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso are the only players who retain their place in Mourinho’s starting eleven from the side which beat Arsenal on Sunday.
