Mousa Dembele has rejected the opportunity to join Italian giants Inter Milan, according to talkSPORT.
The Belgian midfielder has just 11 months to run on his current contract at Tottenham Hotspur and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
A host of clubs have been linked with a move for the powerful midfielder, including interest from China, France and what feels like half of Serie A.
The report claims that Dembele, who will be a free agent next summer snubbed the chance to join Inter and also turned down interest from China earlier in the window as he felt at 31, is too early to go and play his football in such a league.
Dembele is set to report back for training with Tottenham tomorrow along with the rest of our World Cup stars and could be involved in Saturday’s squad to face Newcastle United unless another bid comes in.
