ESPN troll Arsenal with funny Gareth Bale tweet

Ex-Tottenham Hotspur star, Gareth Bale, seems to finally be on the move away from Real Madrid this summer after six years at the club (Sky Sports).

Bale moved from Spurs to Spain back in 2013 for a then world-record fee of around £86m (BBC).

The Mirror report that Bale is currently on £650,000 a week at Los Blancos, but could be set to earn even more if he secures a move to China this summer.

Chinese Super League outfit, Beijing Guoan, are said to be willing to make Bale the highest-paid player in the world by offering him £1,000,000 per week.

ESPN have wasted no time in taking a jab at Arsenal after this recent Bale news, with some reports stating that the Gunners have just £45m to spend this summer (Daily Mail).

ESPN have tweeted out that Gareth Bale’s potential yearly wages in China would eclipse Arsenal’s entire summer transfer budget for this year, not something that Gunners fans will want to be reading.
