Fabrizio Romano reveals when Harry Kane is likely to make a decision on his future

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Harry Kane will likely make a decision on whether to join Bayern Munich or stay at Tottenham within the next couple of hours.

It emerged earlier today that Bayern’s latest offer for Kane, which according to some accounts, could rise beyond £110m including add-ons, was accepted by Spurs (The Independent).

However, since then, it has emerged that the striker might still decide against the move, with Sky Sports News revealing that as things stand, the 30-year-old looks likely to remain at his boyhood club.

Harry Kane decision expected today

Romano has now told the Polish channel Meczyki that Kane is now thinking about what to do and is discussing the permutations with his team and those close to him.

The journalist explained that the England captain wanted a move to Bayern to be sorted out in July or early this month rather than just days ahead of Tottenham’s new campaign.

Romano stated that the Bundesliga club remain optimistic about getting the deal over the line while Kane is expected to make a decision within the next couple of hours as he has no indication to drag this into tomorrow or the day after.

Spurs Web Opinion

I can certainly see Kane deciding to stay as he might feel he could score another 30 goals again this season if he plays in a Postecoglou side and then will have his pick of any club in Europe next summer as a free agent. However, I still believe that the likely outcome is that the 30-year-old will end up completing the switch to Bayern.
