“FFS Trippier and Davies” – Some Spurs fans react to the team vs Man Utd

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to the team news announcement ahead of facing Manchester United.

Mauricio Pochettino has made two changes to his starting line up from the team which beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Carabao Cup semi final first leg on Tuesday evening.

Jan Vertonghen returns after a lengthy lay off due to a thigh injury to replace Davinson Sanchez and partners Toby Alderweireld, while Ben Davies comes in for Danny Rose.

Pochettino’s decision to play Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies over Serge Aurier and Danny Rose has left some supporters scratching their heads.

Rose was in superb form against Chelsea and offers more of an attacking threat than Davies, who is content to rarely cross the halfway line and pass the ball sideways.

Meanwhile, Lucas Moura failed a late fitness test on the knee problem he picked up in the FA Cup win against Tranmere.
