Former Spur mocks Arsenal after progression to Champions League quarter-final

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Micky Hazard has wasted no time in mocking Arsenal fans after the win against Borussia Dortmund.

Harry Kane’s 49th minute goal ensured that Spurs booked their place in the quarter final of the competition after beating their German opponents 4-0 on aggregate.

Dortmund came out of the blocks and looked to score an early goal to set the tone of the match, but met an inspired Hugo Lloris and Spurs defence who were intent on continuing their quest in the competition.

Arsenal had not made it through to the last eight of the European competition since 2010 and now find themselves playing in the lesser Europa League where they have battled in far flung reaches of the continent against minnows.

Spurs will now look forward to learning who they will face in the next round and fans will be hoping that the home leg can be played at the new 62,062 seater capacity stadium which has yet to open its doors.
