Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs currently find themselves 1-0 down at half time to Barcelona.

It was Kyle Walker-Peters who was making his Champions League debut who was guilty of an error which led to Dembele showing his electric pace to give the home side the lead.

Tottenham had the perfect opportunity to level the score on 30 minutes when Christian Eriksen played in Heung-min Son. The South Korean skipped away from Vermaelen and was one on one with Cillessen, but the Barcelona keeper stayed big and save.

It was nearly 2-0 after 43 minutes when Coutinho’s shot clipped the post, but Spurs survived the scare.
