Oh dear! How unfair of Pochettino, after some poor games, to ask him to play out of position. He was all at sea and needs to be taken right away from the first team and given a chance to rebuild his confidence.

Granted, in true derby fashion, it was a ridiculous game and an entertaining one. At times, we showed we can play best as a breaking team (sadly something we will rarely get the opportunity to do). At times, we were on the ropes and looked to have no confidence defensively nor any to keep the ball in midfield.

I’ll take this though … as work in progress. I’d rather be moving forward from this place, as uneven as the performance was.

The energy and determination are good to see and some moments where we looked dangerous and exciting. The confidence and the complete performance will come.
