Busy and ‘well tidy’ at the back and in contributing further forward. Will there be a clear out which creates an opportunity for him or, more likely, will there be a clear out which makes him number two to a fresh face?

The Tottenham Hotspur players and backroom staff show their thanks to the supporters in their customary lap of appreciation around the pitch at the new stadium following the 2-2 draw against Everton this afternoon.

Among the players who ventured onto the turf was Harry Kane, who was accompanied by his fiance Kate and their two children. It was certainly great to see the people behind the Spurs stars also being recognised for their unsung efforts.

Spurs will now look to re-focus ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool in Madrid on June 1st.
