Gallery: Tottenham train ahead of crunch Marseille Champions League clash

The Tottenham players were put through their paces earlier this morning on the Hotspur Way training pitch as part of their preparations for tomorrow’s crunch Champions League match against Marseille.

Tottenham will jet off to the south of France later today to continue their preparations for the match at the Stade Velodrome which will decide the north Londoners fate in the competition.

The players took part in a series of conditioning drills, including short sprints and some agility work involving hurdles which they had to leap over. Antonio Conte was watching on, however, tomorrow he will not be able to take his place on the touchline or even in the dressing room prior to the game as a result of the one-match suspension he received late in the 1-1 draw against Sporting CP for questioning why VAR had chalked off Harry Kane’s goal.

With only two points separating both sides, the group can be flipped on its head with Spurs potentially facing Europa League football if results do not go their way.

Spurs come into the fixture on the back of a 3-2 win at Bournemouth and will certainly have to start the game against their French opponents brighter than they did at the Vitality Stadium or they could be in for a long evening.
