Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to signing midfielder Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon after nearly 18-months of zero transfer activity.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the deal has just a few details left to be completed before a €62 move this summer.

Another player who had such promise but never delivered at Spurs. Paulinho was supposed to be the perfect ball-carrying box-to-box midfielder, but rarely followed through on this. He strangely managed to secure a move to Barcelona via China after leaving Tottenham, but probably won't be remembered at Spurs in the distant future.
