Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a host of players over the course of the summer and the latest is Inter Milan midfielder Roberto Gagliardini.

According to Italian news site Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham are planning a move for the 24-year-old, who joined Inter on a permanent deal in January last year for €28 million.

Atletico Madrid are also said to be keen on landing the player who has scored twice in 51 appearances for the Serie A outfit.

Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Valencia’s Geoffrey Kondogbia are two midfielders who have been prominently tipped with a potential switch, but as of yet, Tottenham are still to sign any players during the summer transfer window.

Injuries to Victor Wanyama, Moussa Sissoko and a slight problem for Erik Lamela have left our midfield options slightly thin on the ground.

Do you think Spurs will make a signing?  Have your say below.

  1. I rather stay with the lot instead to see another panic buy. Would love to see Walker-Peters leaving on loan. He is very immature and often doesn’t know what to do. Needs too long to make decisions. Also because we have Serge and Trips. I fear we will get problems on the left. We should have sold Rose. Now he will get us nothing. Hope Ben won’t get injured. We need to invest in a left back and I doubt we’ll get Sessegnon.

Georgiou may be ambitious but he has no defensive skills and did hard to defend Suso. Rather see him leaving than Reo! Despite his age Reo would be an alternativ back up for Harry when comparing him to Llorente. Skipp and Amos looked great.

I’m happy we didn’t signed Malcolm and hope we can sign Neres instead, but know Kluivert is gone, he will become the key-man and will cost more. Same for Pulisic. We missed the chance. Beside his talent the club would also profit because of his us-background money wise. But comparing him to Hazard is a joke.

Instead to spend big I would swap Onomah if Poch really wants Grealish, but tbh he doesn’t impress much. He is english, thats all. Rather see us spending more, but more ambitious on a player like Martial who would give us a huge boost on the left wing instead to spend much on a mediocre attacking midfielder Grealish is. Cause we already have Lammy and Eriksen.

Anyway, I fear our defense could suffer when Wany’s isn’t fit at time and see a lack of options here! Dele, Sissoko and Amos can play in Dembs role. But we only have Dier who can replace Wanyama. Cheap starlets like Mandragora or William Carvalho who joined Betis for almost nothing are gone. What happened to the interests in Ndombele btw? However, its not easy to find players when the transfer window is closing. Isn’t it, Levy?

Hoping for Bale – a waste of time
Hoping for Modric – a waste of time
Hoping Levy will ever change – a waste of time
