Gary Cahill - Tottenham Hotspur Football News

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp won’t rule out another bid for Bolton’s Gary Cahill in January.

He told the Sunday Mirror: “We were able to negotiate a deal with West Ham for (Scott) Parker, but we couldn’t get a deal done for Cahill.

“That’s not to say we won’t try again in January. If the chairman can reach an agreement with Bolton I’d love to bring him here.”

  1. Harry should keep his mouth shut. We are always complaining about other teams tapping up our players yet these kind of comments are the same.

  2. I like to hear what our manager is thinking so I have no problem with this and it is better than our last manager Ramos who apparently hardly spoke to the press or even to our own players :)

Hope we are looking equally hard for another striker too.

    • You would have thought that we will buy in January. We are one more injury away from struggling defensively and then coping in all competitions.

If Ade gets injured (worst case scenario) or loses interst, we're in trouble.
Defoe is looking sharp at the moment but one senses his form is somewhat fragile at the moment.
Pav, he will probably go in January, and you'd expect/want us to probably get two in. In hindsight we should have sold him in the summer after he was in some sembalance of form at the end of last season, we won't get too much for him now.

  3. In Harry we trust…we all know he was pissed off the cahill deal fell apart, especially after working so hard to get Bassong deal put together!
